  32.    off will eliminate the data loss!!!

  45.         6    UP    Maximum throughput enabled.
  46.         7    UP    RTS functions normally.
  47.         8    DOWN  Enable modem command mode.
  48.         9    DOWN  Sync mode Remote digital loopback test.
  49.        10    UP    Dial-Up operation (not leased line operation)
  50.        11    DOWN  Multi-Tech Responses enabled
  51.        12    DOWN  Asynchronous operation

  54.     The AIX serial port is configured to honor RTS/CTS not XON/XOFF.
